Yes they can. I designed the website so that it knows what steam accounts are Valve employee accounts and which are not. Valve accounts can export the bug and suggestion lists on the fly by just logging in and going to the bug or suggestion pages and clicking export at the bottom.

Fill out the online survey(steam://takesurvey/2/). You need Steam for the survey. Since part of the survey is about hardware, you should use the computer you play on to fill out the survey.

No, CSGODev.com is not affiliated with VALVe or Steam. This idea was a concept by a couple beta testers. It is completely 3rd party. This website was also Designed, Programmed, Hosted, Owned, Operated by gamers for gamers.
- • What is the purpose of CSGODev.com?
I feel this is a much better way of tracking the bugs and suggestions effeciently and effectively. I also want to ensure everyones bugs and suggestions are heard. With enough thumbs up on bugs or suggestions it will speak louder to the developers. You also dont have to create an account for this site. It simply uses your steam account that you already have.
This site is also my creation to do my part and bring the beta testers together with a easier to use method of providing feedback and bugs to Valve for the game. I want the game to be the best it can be and im doing what i can to do my part to ensure of this.
- • How does Thumbup/Thumbdown work?
You need to login using your steam credentials. Our site will perform a check to see if the account your logging in with has the beta on it. If it does then that access is permitted. If you dont have the game the only thing you can do is view these things without interaction.
These are a vital function of our system. This cuts down on duplicate entries. If you agree with the suggestion or have had the same bug thats been posted then you can just click thumbup and it will record your account down on that bug or suggestion. This will also bump that bug or suggestion to the top so the most popular is at the top being the most critical.
Thumbs down is for suggestions only. If you dont agree with someones suggestion then you can thumb it down.
- • How do i submit bugs/suggestions?
You need to login using your steam credentials. Our site will perform a check to see if the account your logging in with has the beta on it. If it does then that access is permitted. If you dont have the game the only thing you can do is view these things without interaction. To submit bugs you just click submit on the bug tracker portion and fill out the form as full as you can. To submit a suggestion just click submit on the suggestion portion.
- • “No Subscription” error when downloading server files
You are getting this error because you are attempting to download the CS:GO Beta server files with a steam account that doesnt have the beta. You can only download the beta server files if you have the beta.
- • CS:GO Server command line options
First were going to establish the base for each OS.
srcds.exe -game csgo
srcds -game csgo
./srcds_run -game csgo
./srcds_linux -game csgo
Those are what you start the server with. However you do need additional items or switches as they are called to configure how the server starts, what runs, what game mode, what settings, and more.
The server is searching for updates on startup.
Srcds will run with a console window.
This enables RCON.
Specifies the address to use for the bind(2) syscall, which controls on which IP addresses the program is reachable on. It must either be a local address (an addresses of the host it runs on) or 0.0.0.0 (the wildcard). This has nothing to do with externally-visible addresses in NAT setups.
Sets the port for the server. Default is 27015
Specifies how many player slots the server can contain.
Specifies the game type. 0 is Classic type. 1 is Gungame type.
Specifies the game mode. If game_type is 0 then mode 0 is Classic Casual and 1 is Classic Competitive. If game_type is 1 then mode 0 is Arms Race and 1 is Demolition.
This specifies which map list in the gamemodes.txt the server will use. The options are: mg_allclassic, mg_hostage, mg_bomb, mg_armsrace, mg_demolition. If you want to lock the server to 1 map just add mg_ in front of the map name. Example: mg_de_dust2
This tells the server what map to start the server on.
Executes the server.cfg file.
So an example Windows command line would be like this:

- • How do i get more then 5v5?
Set -maxplayers in the command line to desired server slotcount.
Under every map there is a minplayers setting and a maxplayers setting. By default they all are 10. Change both of them for every map in the gamemodes.txt to 30.
Set your desired bot count in the server.cfg with the bot_quota cvar.
- • Server stuck on map, wont cycle.
If your server just stays on the same map instead of cycling through the maplist then you need to add this to your server.cfg file.
- • My server wont show up on the server list.
If your CS:GO server wont show up on the Server browser and your running Windows then here is the fix.
Ensure sv_region is set.
Example: sv_region 255
Here is the legend.

Run SteamCMD before starting the server. Once the server is running you can close SteamCMD. Every server after that will work as well. If all of the servers are terminated then you must do this again.
- • How do I change weapon properties/characteristics?
There is a scripts folder inside of the csgo folder. Inside you will see many files but the ones you are looking for have the prefix “weapon_”
so for AK47 you will find the file weapon_ak47, for AWP the file would be weapon_awp and so on.
If your poking around in these files and you dont know what your doing you should prolly seek help or back the ones your editing up and do the guess and see method. Editing these files will mess the game up if your not careful.

- • How do I change friendly fire?
To change friendly fire you need to change mp_friendlyfire in the gamemodes.txt under the mode your server is running.
mp_friendlyfire 0 means its off and you CAN NOT do damage to team mates.
mp_friendlyfire 1 means its on and you CAN do damage to team mates.
- • Maps wont rotate after round limit reached.
Add “mp_match_end_restart 0″ under the mode your server is running in the gamemodes.txt file.
